We can begin to understand,

It is not our idealistic nature that is wrong,

But we are just not lucky enough,
Because we were born in an era where humans truly become predators of each other,

Tentu saja tidak,
Albert Einstein justru akan dipandang sebagai manusia paling aneh oleh para manusia purba di zaman batu itu.
Karenanya, terlahir pada tempat dan waktu yang tepat,
Menjadi sangat penting.
Terlahir pada tempat dan pada waktu yang tidak tepat,
Bahkan dapat membuat seorang Albert Einstein menjadi tampak seperti seonggok sampah yang tidak berguna dan tidak dihargai.

Hidup di tengah-tengah komunitas yang para warganya gemar meminum minuman keras,
Akan menjadi aneh bila terdapat seseorang diantara kita yang menolak untuk meminum minuman keras tersebut.
Memiliki daya berpikir yang jauh kedepan,
Melampaui kemampuan dan kapasitas berpikir orang kebanyakan pada umumnya,
Adalah seorang revolusioner dan evolusioner,
Namun itu menyerupai suatu gerakan untuk melawan arus,
Arus massa.
Hanya ada dua kemungkinan ketika kita bergerak melawan arus,
Yakni merasa letih dan kemudian terseret arus dan tenggelam bersama dengan arus yang menghanyutkan tersebut,
Atau menjadi lain dari pada yang lain,

Terasingkan,
Itulah ketika engkau akan dikatakn sebagai “orang gila” karena berbeda.

Mendapat kritik serta penolakan keras oleh masyarakat yang hidup pada zaman itu,
Karena dianggap menentang agama,
Karena dianggap tidak masuk akal,

Karena dianggap menentang kekuasaan Tuhan.
Galileo Galilei,
Diancam akan dihukum mati,
Karena hipotesisnya bahwa matahari tidak mengelilingi bumi,

Semata bukan karena kesalahan pemerintah yang berkuasa pada masa itu di Yunani,
Namun karena Socrates tampaknya terlahir pada tempat dan pada waktu yang tidak tepat.

Seseorang perlu terlahir pada tempat dan pada waktu yang tepat,

Itulah sebabnya,
Menjadi dapat kita pahami,
Bila seorang Buddha hanya dapat lahir pada saat moralitas umat manusia masih dalam kondisi baik,
Agar mereka dapat dengan mudah memahami Dhamma yang diajarkan oleh Sang Buddha.
Ciri khas kelahiran seorang Buddha,
Ialah ketika kekotoran batin yang menutupi mata umat manusia,
Masih tergolong tipis,
Sehingga mereka akan mudah diajarkan dan memahami Dhamma yang diajarkan oleh Sang Buddha.
Adalah akan sangat percuma,
Bila seorang Buddha lahir pada saat moralitas umat manusia telah demikian rusak,
Dengan kekotoran batin yang demikian tebal menutupi mata mareka,
Sama seperti demikian sedikitnya umat manusia pada masa kini yang mampu menghargai ajaran-ajaran Sang Buddha,
Terlebih untuk mampu memahami Dhamma.
Karena itulah,
Mulai dapat kita pahami,
Terkadang,
Bukanlah sifat idealis kita yang keliru,
Bukan juga sifat-sifat baik kita yang keliru,
Namun kita hanya kurang cukup beruntung,
Karena terlahir pada era dimana manusia benar-benar menjadi predator bagi sesamanya,
Dimana moralitas manusia telah demikian rusak,
Dimana bahkan kita yang harus merasa takut bila menjadi korban kejahatan,
Bukan sang pelaku kejahatan itu sendiri yang patut merasa takut melakukan kejahatan dan mengorbankan hidup orang lain yang menjadi korbannya.
Menjadi menyerupai sebuah imajinasi,
Seorang Albert Einstein memberikan kuliah bagi para manusia purba,
Menurut Anda,
Siapakah yang sebenarnya paling konyol,
Para manusia purba itu yang tidak akan pernah dapat paham tentang apa itu teori relativitas,
Ataukah,
Einstein yang membuang-buang waktu dengan mencoba mengajari para manusia purba itu tentang teori-teori yang abstrak yang sukar dicerna, bahkan untuk ukuran kita yang merupakan manusia modern ini?
